Hundreds of Firefighters Lineup In State Convention Parade
(HANOVER TWP.)--Dozens and dozens of fire trucks filled the streets of Luzerne County Saturday, but it wasn't because of a fire call. The state convention parade was held in Hanover Township Saturday afternoon. Over 600 marchers,a handful of bands, and around 170 fire trucks from around the state and some from out of the state made it to the annual event. A packed crowd was on hand to watch the parade. Along with the parade, firefighters got the chance to meet one another, and also hitting the green for some golf. The covention gathering wraps up this evening in Hanover Township.
