Guaranteed Gas For Less Part 2:Interview with Senior Petroleum Analyst

Today,we feature part 2 of our series,Guaranteed Gas For Less.On the spotlight today,is Patrick DeHaan,a Senior Petroleum Analyst for gasbuddy.com.Gasbuddy.com,is a website where consumers can post their local prices and find the lowest cost of gas in town.According to DeHaan,gasbuddy.com has over 200 local websites."Volunteer price spotters report prices to us via our website, GasBuddy.com, so that members and visitors can find the best price for gasoline in their area."Dehaan said.
This is a unique website that was started a few years ago and continues to grow."GasBuddy has continued to bring additional features to aid motorists in finding cheap gasoline, so while the site is successful, we continue to listen to our members recommendations to add functionality to the site",Dehaan stated.Today,we checked on the local gas prices in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Area, and they were checking in with 2.61 a gallon.Dehaan also added,"We always believe money is better in your pocket than the someone elses, so we advise using GasBuddy.com before you fill up to find the best local prices. If the best price is miles away, you'll at least know what is an acceptable price to pay closer to home." A fine, fast way to save in today's tough economy. One of DeHaan co-workers,Jason Tows, founded gasbuddy.com in 2000 along with his partner,Dustin Coupal.
